Eric Fontaine recognizes that a place of vulnerability is sacred ground and considers it a privilege to be invited in and to work collaboratively with clients in this space. He believes that we all have the innate capacity to grow and make changes, but that we sometimes need someone to come alongside us to recognize and reach that potential.
Eric enjoys working with clients from a variety of ages and backgrounds and draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy. He also appreciates trauma-informed perspectives and is trained in Lifespan Integration for trauma processing. Eric’s areas of practice include:

Eric completed his Master of Arts in Counselling psychology from Trinity Western University and is both a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association.
