Megan Soukoreff

Megan values the importance of authentic connection and relationship, believing we all share deep needs to be known and understood. With empathy and compassion, she strives to create a place for your whole self to feel valued and safe during your counselling experience, providing an environment for growth and learning about oneself. Through a collaborative, person-centered approach, Megan hopes to empower you to turn towards inner pain, discover strength, and take meaningful steps towards change in your life and relationships. Megan brings care to all parts of the person, considering body, mind, and spirit important to health and wholeness.

Megan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trinity Western University and is a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors in good standing. Her approach to therapy is emotion focused, attachment based, and trauma informed, incorporating techniques from a variety of client-centered and experiential therapies. Her work is based in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples, and families, and Satir Method, with continued training in additional therapeutic approaches. Megan enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, with special interest in young adults, teens, and families. She considers it an honour and joy to walk alongside others and believes in the capacity for transformative healing and change in each of us.
