Kate Keillor

Kate is currently completing her master’s in counselling psychology at Trinity Western University. She is honoured to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families on their journey toward healing and growth. Kate believes that cultivating warmth, safety, and hope is essential to the counselling process and strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. Kate’s approach is grounded in a client-centered perspective that honours the unique worldview each person brings, shaped by their culture, values, and life experiences. She is committed to creating a respectful, open environment where clients can explore their challenges, deepen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful change. With humility, empathy, and curiosity, Kate supports clients as they navigate life transitions, develop emotional regulation skills, and explore the impact of neurodiversity in their lives and relationships. In her practice, Kate draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the individual needs of her clients. Her work is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and she continues to expand her clinical understanding through ongoing education and training. She believes in the potential for change and growth in every client and is dedicated to walking alongside them as they discover new insights, strengths, and possibilities.
