Nate Lieuwen

Nathaniel Lieuwen is a Counselling Intern who has completed one year of the Counselling Psychology program at Trinity Western University. He considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. Nate believes that meaningful change occurs within relationships where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. He strives to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences with openness and curiosity, while building hope, self-awareness, and confidence in their ability to move forward. He is particularly passionate about supporting individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use concerns, loneliness, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions.

Nathaniel's approach to counselling is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. He believes that every individual has inherent strengths and capacities that can be built upon, even during difficult seasons of life. Nathaniel is committed to helping clients cultivate greater self-compassion, resilience, and hope as they work toward the life they want to build.
