Melissa Ley

Melissa has over 15 years of professional experience working with children, teens, adults, and families, including individuals with neurodiverse needs. She brings a warm, empathetic presence and values being with others in a way that communicates deep care, attentiveness, and respect. Melissa feels privileged to walk alongside those who are hurting, questioning, or discerning their next steps, and believes hope often begins with the reassurance that you are not alone and that your life has meaning and purpose.

Melissa is currently a Master’s student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Trinity Western University. In her studies, she has particularly enjoyed learning Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Satir Model, which inform and shape her therapeutic approach. Melissa is passionate about facilitating conversations where healing begins as individuals feel fully heard and seen within a safe, supportive, and comfortable space. She also has a heart for working with individuals involved in church ministry, as well as those who have experienced hurt within faith communities, and she draws on her professional and lived experience in these settings.
