Julia Eckert
Julia Eckert, a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC, holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. She believes in each person’s capacity for growth, change, and transformation through new experiences and choices.
Julia provides a safe and supportive environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Within this space, they can lower their defenses, embrace vulnerability, and explore new possibilities for themselves and their relationships. She trusts the therapeutic process and remains fully present with clients as they navigate their unique journeys—reflecting on the past, engaging with the present, and envisioning the future. By drawing on their inner strengths and resources, Julia aims to foster healing, resilience, and lasting positive change.
In her practice, Julia integrates a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. She has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment Theory (including the Neufeld Institute approach), and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
