Raina is an intern counsellor currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She works from the belief that every individual deserves connection, compassion, and the opportunity to change. It is an honor to provide clients with a supportive and transformative space. Raina approaches therapy from a collaborative relational approach and seeks to build a foundation of trust and safety with her clients. In session, Raina hopes to empower clients to make meaningful change in a way that honours their unique identity and story.
Before pursuing counselling, Raina spent six years teaching and supporting students in the high school setting. She has also coached youth sport for over 8 years and is continually inspired by the resilience, growth, and development of young women in sport. These experiences have reinforced a belief that people of all ages deserve a voice and support as they navigate life’s challenges. Raina’s educational and professional experience equip her to support clients navigating a variety of concerns including life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, stress management, and loss.
