Thea Tharuma helps clients from diverse walks of life find healing, connection, and empowerment. She offers insight and support, while maintaining a warm, compassionate and safe space for clients to come as they are. Thea brings forth her genuineness and empathy to create a caring and nonjudgmental environment. This environment allows clients to be seen and heard. She finds it an absolute honor to be entrusted in each client’s vulnerability and journey. Thea uses a Person-Centered approach with an attachment and trauma lens.
Thea is a Counselling Associate, graduating from the Masters of Arts program in Counselling Psychology at Trinity Western University. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, relational struggles, spiritual and religious struggles, and trauma.
