Our Story

In the mid 1990’s, the Peace Portal Alliance Church congregation had a vision to create a safe space where people from the local community could come for professional affordable counselling services. Our counselling centre became a place where people could connect deeply, navigate life’s challenges and be healed from various situations. 

Having been in the community for over a decade, the need for this affordable counselling service and the dream of meeting the needs of a diverse community continues to thrive.  Peace Portal Counselling Centre has emerged as a professionally credentialed community-based centre, located in the South Surrey area, impacting lives throughout the lower mainland.
